Controlling NAGA supply

This part of document is use PancakeSwap as role model.

Why NAGA has no hard cap

There's currently no hard cap on the supply of NAGA token, making it an inflationary token.

Community members often point to this as a cause for concern, and while the nagas certainly understand the wish for a hard cap, there's a big reason we don't expect to set one in the near future:

NAGA's primary function is to incentivize creating quality contents to the platform. Without block rewards, there would be much less incentive to create the blog post.

So what are the other ways NAGA's supply is limited, to counter inflation?

How NAGA supply is reduced without a hard cap

The nagas aim to make deflation higher than emission by building deflationary mechanisms into Naga's products. The goal is for more NAGA to leave circulation than the amount of NAGA that's produced.

Deflationary mechanisms

Regular token burns are built into many of Naga's products (like a 20% burn of NAGA spent on blog clapping), with more on the way. Check the NAGA Tokenomics page for details on present and upcoming deflationary mechanisms.
